We are located in one of the world’s most beautiful, vibrant, and powerful cities, and boast a diverse student body that represents nearly every continent in the world. Students from many walks of life find a place to call home here at Inlingua® Washington DC.

Our strategic location in the DC metropolitan area, between Virginia and Maryland, gives our students access to many prestigious universities and makes us an ideal choice. Here, students have access to world-famous museums and galleries, as well as lectures, concerts, and cultural events, most of which are free of charge.  More business-oriented professionals may find valuable resources through the many local international organizations, embassies, diplomatic missions, and non-governmental agencies in the area.  At Inlingua Washington DC, you will truly be at the center of it all.

There are students from all over the world at our school.  We offer general group English classes at all levels, from beginner to advanced, plus Test Preparation Courses in TOEFL, IELTS, GRE and GMAT, and a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Certificate Program.  We also customize professional and academic English seminars and courses for diplomats, lawyers, law enforcement officers, engineers, business executives, architects, customs officers, etc.

In addition to our regular English courses, inlingua is an official TOEFL Testing Center for the iBT TOEFL, and the first and largest official IELTS Testing Center in the US.

Students practice their English language skills in authentic settings in addition to studying in the classroom. Our student services coordinator organizes events on and off campus that let students put their skills to real use. For example, Conversation Club gets students together to talk with native English speakers; Study Hall gives students the chance to study with an inlingua teacher for no additional cost; inlingua picnics offer a way to make friends, share a meal, and enjoy the outdoors, and sight-seeing trips take advantage of our prime location in the nation’s capital.
