Intensive Plus Program
For students who want to maximize their study time in the USA. With 28 in-classroom lessons per week, this program accelerates students' academic improvement in their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. The Intensive Plus provides opportunities for students to use their newly-acquired grammar and vocabulary while continuing to develop and expand their knowledge of the study skills, learning styles, and strategies necessary for effective reading, writing, and oral communication. Plus classes are dynamic and interactive, and focus on real-life communication and situations. In the foundational levels, our Intensive Plus program uses Inlingua speaking materials as a base, and the teacher supplements with media and real-life materials to offer an experience that is tailored to the specific needs and goals of the students. In the upper levels, students may focus on business writing, giving presentations, or mastering TOEFL and IELTS speaking skills, among many other options.
The Plus option is offered at all levels, including Test Preparation and English for Special Purposes.

Semi-Intensive English Program
Our Semi-Intensive 18 lessons English Program focuses on developing fluency in listening and speaking skills in English. Formerly known as inlingua’s Oral Track Program, our new Semi-Intensive courses have been updated while maintaining the renowned inlingua materials and inlingua method.
Our communicative approach involves students in authentic communication as often as possible, as well as teaches language learning strategies that can be applied outside of the classroom, in real-life situations. The inlingua method aims to maximize student interaction and use of English inside the classroom. Students learn English in interactive classes in which English is used at all times to focus on improving listening and speaking. Lessons can include a variety of topical speaking activities, including questions and answer activities, pair work, games, and discussions and can involve weaving drills, comprehension checks, question-answer tag teams, dialogues, role plays, educational games, multimedia activities, oral presentations, group projects, class celebrations, field trips, and homework to reinforce learning. The lessons are fun and interactive. They demand high participation from the students, so students will notice their speaking skills and comprehension of the language improving at a fast rate! There are textbooks, but through a carefully structured program, the books are closed for a large part of the lesson so that the student can practice speaking and listening as much as possible. The textbooks and workbooks, as well as the audio CDs, provide plenty of exercises for students to improve their listening, reading, and writing at home. inlingua materials (books and CDs) are exclusively used, which means the materials and special teaching method in our Semi-Intensive English Program can be found nowhere else but at inlingua. This program exposes students to a very controlled method of correction in speech. This method of error correction is extremely effective in forcing students to ‘acquire and assimilate’ correctly spoken grammar and lexis, and help expose and correct ‘fossilized’ errors. Soft skills (speaking and listening) are more difficult to practice at home than paper skills (reading and writing), so this program also helps students whose speaking is weaker than their reading and writing skills.
The inlingua Semi-Intensive English Program offers nine levels, OT1 to OT5.
